I Get Wild

We're a band that plays Talking Heads music.

Since 2016, we've been interpreting these songs our way—not as a museum exhibit, but as living music that still has something to say. We're not trying to recreate 1980. We're trying to find what makes these songs work now.

Talking Heads made music that was strange and smart and impossible to pin down. There's a reason these tunes endure - they feel so pertinent to the current moment and they sound like they are sent from the future. We try to honor that spirit—not by copying it, but by keeping that same sense of curiosity alive.

Each show is different. We rearrange, we experiment, we let the songs breathe. We also let ourselves breathe. 

If you want a note-perfect reproduction, we might not be your band. But if you want to hear these songs like they're dangerous again, come see us.
